Proteomics is moving rapidly toward deeper functional interpretation, greater analytical throughput, and more reproducible sample-to-data workflows. This seminar will bring together two complementary perspectives on how chemical biology, computation, and laboratory automation are reshaping modern proteomics.Prof. Chu Wang will discuss chemically and computationally driven functional proteomics strategies for probing protein function, interactions, and activity in complex biological systems. Dr. Zilu Ye will highlight automated and high-throughput proteomics workflows that improve reproducibility, scalability, and practical implementation for large-scale protein analysis.Together, the talks will explore how integrated experimental and automated workflows can accelerate biological discovery, support translational research, and expand the accessibility of advanced proteomics methods, with examples from Opentrons Flex-enabled application notes and peer-reviewed studies.
