Only taking up half of your standard lab bench, the OT-2 robot turns complex lab work into automated workflows using high-powered technology while leaving a compact footprint. Designed for ease of use, the automated system can help you standardize routine lab preparations. 

Use what you have, add what you need

No pipetting job is too big for the O2-T robot. Fitted with 11 deck slots, plus trash, and space for two, swappable pipettes, you can automate the most time-consuming applications in your lab. With fewer errors and more efficient processes, the O2-T robot can cut set-up times in half and minimize the need for intervention.

API compatibility

  • Opentrons software is open-source and users can make adjustments to the software as needed to interface with other products. While all integrations are possible, they all require custom code work i.e. most customers will need to write custom libraries and install software packages that are not shipped with the robot.

  • Opentrons guarantees the performance of Opentrons Tips which were specifically designed for the OT-2. The OT-2 was designed to accommodate all universal bore tip types, but tip quality and dimensions can vary significantly so third party tip performance cannot be guaranteed by Opentrons.
