Fully Automated Protein Quantification and Normalization using Opentrons Flex with on-deck Plate Reader

Wednesday, November 20th

9:00AM PST / 12:00PM EST / 5:00PM BST

Join this live from the lab webinar to see a demonstration of end-to-end fully automated protein quantification and normalization. Using the example of protein quantification by BCA assay, our scientists will show how to use an Opentrons Flex with the newly released on-deck absorbance plate reader to set up and run assays, and then normalize concentrations, all from a single protocol without human intervention.

Using protocols freely available for download from the Opentrons Protocol Library, key variables such as sample number can be changed before running from the touchscreen on a Flex robot. Join to hear tips from our in-house expert on how to perform BCA assays as well as other protein, biochemistry and cell-based assays.

Sign up to learn:
  • How to automate assays and then normalize concentrations.
  • Ways to perform BCA assays and other protein, biochemistry, or cell-based assays
Who should register:
  • Anybody who runs absorbance assays, e.g. ELISA, Bradford, BCA, Lowry, MTT, and OD600
  • Scientists interested in automating their proteomics workflows
  • Opentrons Flex users interested in adding an on-deck plate reader
