MassSpecPreppy - Cost-Effective End-To-End Solution for Automated & Flexible Sample Preparation for Proteome Profiling by Mass Spectrometry

On-Demand Webinar

A versatile protocol and sample processing workflow are important key stones for successful high-throughput proteomics experiments. We developed MassSpecPreppy, an end-to-end solution that provides a cost-effective workflow for high-throughput sample processing, encompassing protein concentration determination and sample digestion. The sample digestion workflow is capable of processing 96 samples simultaneously including sample normalization , reducing/alkylating and eluting peptides into vials or loading specified peptide quantities onto Evotips in an automated and flexible manner. Thus, the easy-to-use MassSpecPreppy app in combination with the OT-2 robot is a valuable tool for the entire proteomics research community, which can be expanded with various methods in the future.

My professional journey spans several years of participation in interdisciplinary research projects. My expertise in genomics has been refined, particularly in Nanopore and Illumina sequencing techniques, as well as hybrid genome assembly. I have also developed proficiency in transcriptomics, including RNAseq and tiling array methodologies. My skills extend to proteomics, specifically DDA-MS and DIA-MS, and immunoproteomics, with a focus on xMAP® technology. These diverse technologies form the cornerstone of my scientific skill set.
